The Moon and the Wall

Darkness crept over the city as the hour grew late. The streets lit up as the night life began. Traffic bustled as the people rushed off to their destinations. The noise of tires, car horns, and club music filled the downtown.

In another part of city, one where the lights were old and dim, a Traveler sat against a brick wall in front of a canal, recording his journey by the moonlight. The full white circle rose above the crumbling brick buildings, its shape being sliced by the perfect black silhouette of telephone wires.

The Traveler thought himself alone. He was used to the feeling after traipsing the globe in solitude. But why did iThe Moon and the Wall by ~00Bones
